Nutri-Graze contains a blend of micronutrients in a patented organic chelation (Microbial Catalyst^® technology) that allows it to act as a “fertilizer” for the microbes. This patented chemistry allows Nutri-Graze to translocate through the plant to the root zone. Once in the root zone, it will stimulate the soil microbes to unlock enzymes that release tied-up nutrients in the soil, making them available to the plant. Increased nutrient uptake translates to improved plant health and ultimately increased yields and higher quality forages.

Nutri-Graze is compatible with other products including most liquid fertilizer and herbicides. A compatibility test (jar test) is recommended before use. Mix proportionate amounts of Nutri-Graze, liquid fertilizer, herbicides and other companion products in a small container and check the solution after 5 minutes. If not compatible, do not use them together.

This will depend entirely on the circumstances of your operation. Grazing returns nutrients back to the land that can be recycled, while mechanically harvesting removes those nutrients entirely. Soil characteristics, past practices and yield goals will all alter the efficacy of your fertilization program. Nutri-Graze works to enhance nutrient uptake in the plant, making the fertilizer that is applied more effective. It will also help recycle crop residue and animal waste to create more plant-available nutrients.

Nutri-Graze is rapidly absorbed into the plant, so it is safe to graze as soon as it is dry. If mixed with other chemicals, follow the associated label directions for safe use. For best results, apply at least 30 days before harvest to allow the plant to grow and maximize economic return.

Our research has shown a great response on small grains (wheat, rye), legumes (alfalfa, clover) and cool season grasses (brome, orchard) as well as for tall grass or native pastures. While Nutri-Graze has not been tested on every forage based on the mode of action, we assume it would have a positive impact on any forage. The actual response achieved can vary based on underlying soil fertility, moisture conditions and overall pasture productivity.
