RESEARCH PROVEN
A research study conducted at South Dakota State University (SDSU) compared the essential oil-based milk additive, Stand Strong to a common competitive product and a control.
BODY WEIGHT
The study was conducted over two months at SDSU. Results showed that calves fed Stand Strong weighed on average 11.23 lbs. more by the end of the 8 week study. Assuming weight gain is valued at $2.00/lb. this 11.23 lb. increase is worth an additional $22.46/calf.

FECAL SCORES
Calves are especially susceptible to scours from viral, bacterial and parasitic agents in the first 3-4 weeks of life. Stand Strong treated calves had statistically similar fecal scores with a common competitive product and control for the entire study, except week 3 when Stand Strong had statistically lower scores than control.
