Ralco announced today that Dr. Kevin Touchette has joined the company in the role of Senior Swine Nutritionist. Dr. Touchette will focus on serving the technical needs of large-scale swine production systems. Additionally, Dr. Touchette will provide technical support to Ralco’s expanding international swine nutrition business.
“Working in the swine industry, I have always held Ralco and their contributions to swine nutrition in high regard,” said Dr. Touchette. “I’m excited to join Ralco and the swine technical group as the team builds on the legacy of the swine nutrition program of the last 15 years.”
Dr. Touchette brings nearly 20 years of experience working in the swine industry to Ralco working in roles including research and development, product development, and formulation. Dr. Russell Fent, Director of Swine Technical Group said Dr. Touchette’s valuable technical training, strength to implement programs in the field and swine industry knowledge will
complement and enhance Ralco’s ability to bring the best solutions forward for producers.
“The unique skill set Dr. Touchette brings to our technical team having worked in innovation, research and application of different technologies is exceptional,” said Fent. “Most recently, through his work at Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition North America, Inc., his expertise and experience in amino acid nutrition and feed grade amino acid use will be a significant addition to our team to support our EnMAX® nutrition program.”
Dr. Touchette holds a Bachelor of Science in animal science from Cornell University, and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in swine nutrition from University of Missouri-Columbia.
Dr. Touchette joins the Ralco swine technical team as part of their continued growth and to further leverage their state-of-the-art research facilities to advance the EnMAX® program for the benefit of improving swine producer profitability.
