Ralco, a leading provider of effective natural solutions for agriculture, announced today that Dr. Sydney Tuckwiller has joined the company as Poultry Account Manager. She brings more than nine years of experience in poultry nutrition, animal health and applied research, along with a track record of turning research-driven innovation into practical, profitable solutions for producers.
Dr. Tuckwiller earned her Ph.D. in Animal and Poultry Science with an emphasis in Molecular Nutrition from Virginia Tech, along with an M.S. and B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Her path into poultry started in the lab with swine nutrition research at Nebraska, then poultry nutrition research at Virginia Tech, building a foundation in applied animal science that spans broilers, layers and turkeys.
“I’ve always had a passion for animals and agriculture, and that passion led me into nutrition research,” said Dr. Tuckwiller. “Since graduate school, I’ve loved working directly with producers and applying my science background to solve real-world challenges. I’m excited to bring that experience to Ralco’s poultry team, and I’m looking forward to learning from such a talented group of people.”
Dr. Tuckwiller will work directly with poultry partners, helping translate Ralco’s phytonutrient technologies into measurable results in the field. That work reflects a belief Ralco has carried since 1971, that agriculture’s best solutions start with nature and get stronger with science.

Dr. Tuckwiller resides in West Virginia with her family. Outside of work, she competes in local horse shows, enjoys hiking with her two dogs and spends time with her husband and their 5-month-old daughter while helping with farm work and gardening.
