Recommended Use: Mix 8 oz. (0.5 lb. or 228.6 g) with 1 gallon of water to make stock solution.

Elevated temperatures cause dehydration, metabolite imbalances and leave birds susceptible to disease. Avi-Lyte can be used effectively as part of a heat stress management program.

Begin administering Avi-Lyte 1 day before anticipated heat stress, or immediately during an acute heat event.

Maintain administration for the duration of the heat stress period, and for 2-3 days after the heat stress has dissipated.

When transporting or transitioning birds, Avi-Lyte should be administered 1-2 days before the transition period.

This allows birds to better maintain hydration status during periods of limited access to water.

Water sources in the lay or finishing barn may also utilize Avi-Lyte for the first 1-2 days to help ease transition and reduce stress on the animal.

Before birds arrive, flush water lines with Avi-Lyte to ensure all chicks have access to fresh water.

Chicks or poultry should remain on Avi-Lyte for the first 3-7 days to ensure rapid hydration and additional vitamin supplementation.
